Regardless of whether you use Facebook for personal, professional, or a combination of the two purposes, it’s imperative to be aware of who is accessing your page outside of your immediate friend group.

Your posts will appear in their News Feed without your knowledge if your profile is public rather than private because anyone can “follow” you without knowing it.

In other words, you might not be aware of the frequency with which some users check out your public changes.

How to see who is following you on Facebook

1. Navigate to your friends tab and click the “More” button.

2. Select “Follow.”

3. Go through the list of people who are following you.

You can send a friend request to anyone who is following you from here, unless they have disabled this option. Facebook also displays any mutual friends you might have. This way, you can see how you’re related and why this person has started following you.

How to see who is following your Facebook Pages

In addition to seeing who follows your personal profile, you can also see who “follows” your Facebook Pages, as opposed to just “liking” them.

Users on Facebook can “follow” a page without liking it. If they choose to “like,” this automatically activates the “follow” function, unless the user disables it. On the page, users can also follow individual Facebook Shows.

Make sure you’re on your account’s “page” tab to see who’s following your page. Then, in the right-hand sidebar, scroll down until you see this section.

You can see not only the number of likes but also the number of followers on your page. These figures may vary because, as previously stated, users can choose to follow and like or just follow.

You’ll need to take a few more steps to find out who is following your page:

1. Navigate to your page’s “Settings” tab.

2. In the left-hand sidebar, select “People and Other Pages.”

3. Select “People Who Follow This Page” from the menu.

This will display who is currently following your page.
