Verizon Stream TV Gen 2 comes with WiFi 6 and costs $69.99

Verizon Wireless has announced the availability of the Stream TV Gen 2 streaming gadget, which is powered by Android TV. It has a new Verizon user interface and is already available for $69.99. The software for the original model, which was released in February, will be updated as well, with new UI and navigation enhancements.

The Verizon Stream TV Gen 2 is a more stylish version of the previous device from earlier this year. If you didn’t know, the initial Stream TV looked just like a regular set-top box. The current version, on the other hand, looks like a small soundbar.

However, the actual characteristics of this device are unknown. However, 4K streaming, HDR10, and HDR10+ are stated to be supported. Unlike the previous model, which was certified for Netflix after it was released, the new model comes pre-loaded with Netflix.

Other platforms supported by the streaming device include YouTube TV, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, ESPN+, Yahoo, Pluto TV, HBO Max, and Starz. Users can also download a variety of other apps and games from the Google Play Store in addition to these services.

In addition, the Verizon Stream TV Gen 2 includes dual-band WiFi 6, which is unusual in this market. Finally, as an Android TV device, it comes with Chromecast Built-in and a Google Assistant remote control, as well as a wall mount bracket.
