Manchester United ace Paul Pogba will snub a new contract at Old Trafford, it’s claimed.

The Red Devils superstar was heavily linked with Real Madrid in the summer.

However, United’s mammoth £150m asking price stopped a deal from getting done.

Pogba’s current deal runs out in 2021 – and United has the option to sign him up for another year after that.

But according to The Sun, the wantaway midfielder has no intention of signing an extension.

It’s suggested he’s ready to push for a January departure as Real continue to sniff around.

Solskjaer’s job looks safe until Xmas
Pogba was overlooked for the captaincy against Rochdale as United labored to victory on penalties.

He also wasn’t listed as a penalty taker once the match went to spot-kicks.

Reports in Spain earlier this week suggested Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, will look to play games behind the scenes.

The Italian fixer would demand Pogba receives a new deal worth £600,000 a week, knowing full well United won’t sanction that outlay.

Real president Florentino Perez has publicly stated Real’s interest in Pogba is far from over.

But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – who is facing increased pressure at Old Trafford after some dismal performances – insists he’s tuning out the speculation.

“I don’t listen to the president of Real Madrid,” he said earlier this month.

“I am not worried now and I will never be worried in the future about Paul staying here.

“If it all kicks off again in January, there will be no worries then either.

“If we have to live with the speculation again, then we will handle it as we did in the summer.

“Paul is going nowhere, he is working hard and is totally committed to Manchester United.

“He is one of our big characters, someone who will walk out onto any pitch and be full of confidence.

“That’s what I look for in a United player. You need a big personality to play for this club.”
