Is it really necessary to spend Rs. 50,000 on a gaming handset like the new Asus ROG Phone 3? No, Nearly every phone we’ve tested this year, priced around or below Rs. 15,000, has been able to play modern games smoothly enough, and the reason that games like PUBG Mobile have become so popular in India in the first place is that they can run on devices that are affordable to a wide range of people. The actual dilemma is whether you want to just play games or push them to their boundaries in order to improve your skills.
Asus ROG Phone 3 Summary
The Asus ROG Phone 3 is primarily built for gaming, but it also aspires to be a well-rounded flagship phone. It’s big and hefty because to the 6000mAh battery and cooling system, but it’s also very strong thanks to the Snapdragon 865+ processor. A full-HD+ AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ compatibility is included, as well as fast RAM and storage. The ROG Phone 3 has also been customized by Asus with its ultrasonic AirTriggers, which operate as physical gamepad-like buttons. The company’s software allows you to customize them as well as control a variety of additional gaming shortcuts and optimizations. Three rear cameras take remarkably nice images both during the day and at night. Although the front-facing stereo speakers are a lovely touch, there is neither wireless charging or an IP rating. Games run extremely smoothly, and even at the highest resolution settings, we had no issues.
