WhatsApp Web was introduced in 2015 to allow people to use instant messenger on their PCs. You can sync your WhatsApp to your computer using this feature. As a result, you can enjoy instant messaging from the comfort of your web browser. Surprisingly, all of your messages will remain active on your phone.

You must first update WhatsApp on your device. If you haven’t already, download WhatsApp for Android or WhatsApp for iOS. It is also critical that you have a strong internet connection in order for this to work.

Here’s a step-by-step guide for connecting WhatsApp Web to your computer.

Step 1

To begin, launch the WhatsApp app on your smartphone. Click the three-dot button at the top right of your WhatsApp screen. An overflow menu will appear; select WhatsApp Web and click. A Square Box with a horizontal green line moving up and down inside will be waiting for you to scan a QR Code.

Step 2

Open the Google Chrome browser on the computer you plan to use. It is important to note that WhatsApp Web requires the most recent version of Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Opera, or Safari. Unfortunately, Safari on an iPad and the Internet Explorer browser do not support this feature. Enter web.whatsapp.com into the search box of your preferred web browser. A WhatsApp Web page appears immediately. On the right side of the screen, there is a QR code that needs to be scanned. A three-step guide to using WhatsApp on your computer can be found on the left.

Step 3

To capture the QR code on the WhatsApp Web page, point your smartphone camera at the computer screen. Wait a few seconds for the QR code to be scanned. When the connection is established, the interface instantly changes to the WhatsApp home screen. You can even keep your device signed in at your discretion. Continue to send and receive WhatsApp messages while browsing other websites on your computer.

Step 4

After a few minutes of inactivity, the computer will log you out or your connection will be disconnected. Another option is to use the three-dotted buttons on the top left of your computer screen. An overflow menu will appear, where you can find and tap the “Log out” button.

Finally, keep in mind that your mobile phone must remain connected to the internet for this to work. Connecting WhatsApp Web to your computer would be useful in your daily activities. Enjoy!
