Facebook offers a straightforward process for downloading a Facebook album from your own profile. Once more, you may accomplish this without using any third-party downloading programs. However, since the mobile apps don’t allow you to download albums, you’ll have to use Facebook online.
To download your Facebook album, do the following:
- Navigate to your profile by clicking your own name.
- Go to Photos > Albums.
- Open the album that you want to download.

How to Download All of Your Facebook Photos
There is also a quick way to download any photo you’ve ever published to Facebook. Even better, you’ll find them in the appropriate album-organized subfolders. But sometimes the file names are a little odd.
The simple built-in Facebook photo downloader can be used as follows:
- Head to Facebook settings on your desktop browser or use the link facebook.com/settings.
- Click Your Facebook information in the sidebar.
- Select Download your information.
- Choose the quality of the image files under Select file options. We recommend changing Medium to High if you want full-resolution copies. The setting you choose will determine the size of the file. If you have a lot of pictures, this will increase the file size and the time taken by Facebook to get it ready.
- Under Select information to download, click Deselect all, then select only the Posts box.
- Next, select the date range. Select All time to include all your photos.
- Scroll down and click Request a download.
The amount of photographs and videos you have on Facebook will determine how long it takes for Facebook to prepare the ZIP file. You will receive a message to download it from Available Files when it is finished.
To view all of your articles and photographs, including albums as sub-folders, download and unzip the file.
