For people with fair to bad credit, the Fortiva credit card is an unsecured credit-building option. Fortiva offers a variety of payment options for the majority of cardholders, including mail, phone, online account access, and the Fortiva app, to help them avoid making late payments.

You will want a Fortiva credit card login in order to make payments online or through the app.

On the Fortiva website or through the Fortiva Account Center mobile app, you can set up a Fortiva credit card login.

To create a login on the Fortiva website:

Making a Fortiva Payment

You can mail a payment to Fortiva. Some cardholders can also make payments online, over the phone, or via a mobile app.

By Mail

Send your payment coupon, a check, or money order to the address listed on your monthly statement to make a payment by mail.

Payment posting may be delayed and late fines may apply if you mail the payment to a different address than the one listed on your account or without a payment voucher. To be credited on time, payment must be received by 5 p.m. Central Time on the due date.

Online or Mobile App

You must link a checking account to the app in order for it to act as the source of payment if your Fortiva credit card account is configured to accept payments online or through a mobile app.

You can log in and schedule payments of any amount after connecting an account.

By Phone

Some cardholders can use their phones to make Fortiva credit card payments. To find out if pay-by-phone is an option for your account, get in touch with Fortiva’s customer support.

Takeaway

All three of the main credit reporting agencies receive data from Fortiva about credit card account activity, including late and missed payments. You don’t want payments to be late if you’re using the Fortiva credit card to raise your credit score.

To earn credit for an on-time payment when paying by mail, make sure to send payments to the right address and with enough of time to spare. You might find it simpler to make on-time payments online or using the Fortiva app if you have a Fortiva credit card login.
