Please note Binance is not an exchange like coinbase where you can buy (with a debit card or bank transfer) Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin or any other cryptocurrency you want.
It is strictly an exchange site. Which means you need to buy your Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin at Coinbase first and then have it deposited into Binance to be exchanged for the coins you really want.
How to Transfer from Coinbase to Binance:
1: Sign into your Coinbase, at the top of your screen select Accounts. (If you’re on mobile then Accounts will be at the bottom of your screen)
2: Next, choose the cryptocurrency that you want to send from your wallets.
3: Now you have to enter the address that is found in your Binance. (If you’re on mobile tap on the little paper airplane icon which is on your top right hand side of your screen and then you will be asked to enter the amount you want to send and tap on Send. Don’t worry! It won’t be sent yet because you still need to give it your Binance deposit address.
To find this address login to your Binance account, select Funds at the top of your screen (or at the bottom if you’re on mobile) and then tap on Deposits Withdrawals. (on mobile it’s just Deposit at the top).Once that’s done just click on Deposit on the cryptocurrency you’re transferring then copy the Deposit Address.
4: Now all that you have to do is just enter the address that you just got right under Recipient in your Coinbase account. Just choose the amount you want to send. (On Mobile just add the address that you’ve just got and then hit Send and you’re done!)
5: Finally, hit Continue and make sure to check all the details of the transaction and then complete the send. Done. Your cryptocurrency will now be transferred from your Coinbase to your Binance account.
Just give it 15-30 minutes (or maybe longer at times) then you can check your Binance account if it has been deposited yet. You can also check your Coinbase for Transactions and wait till it has successfully gone through.
